Being prepared is more than a motto or a wish; it's a way of life. Given our mortal existence, it's not possible to be completely prepared for everything, but it is possible to be a little prepared for some things. This page provides information and resources for what I call Family Preparedness and Sane Preparedness because family is the focus, starting with you, and preparedness must be done within reason. I tend to avoid the term Emergency Preparedness, because for some reason, it tends to promote the feeling that people only need to prepare when there's an emergency
